How does Outlook know which Global Address List to display to the client
when they choose Global Address List in their Address Book? I deleted the
default global address list then created two other address lists. Address
list 2 was displayed when I clicked on Global Address list in my Address
book... Once I created the default address list again, that was the one that
was displayed? Does it search in alphabetical order? etc? Let me know if I
have to clarify any more. thank you.

I suspect you don't need/want 2 GALs in your environment. The only reason
you'd have two GALs is if you have two separate companies or business units
that should each see a unique GAL.

If you must use two GALs then you need to make sure that every user in the
environment only has rights to view one of the GALs ... noone should have
access to both GALs ... if they do then their MAPI clients will round-robin
through the two GALs which is probably the behaviour you'rs seeing.

Use multiple ALs instead of multiple GALs. If you have further
issues/questions, post back here.
